Production Diary 3

Monday 2-1-17

Today Louis, Kathryn and I went shooting to finalise our footage for both drops. The weather was good with sufficient lighting and we managed to get a few shots on the DLSR. But unfortunately soon after the DSLR ran out of charge so we were forced to use the GoPro for the rest. Although we would have liked the DSLR as the quality is higher, this wasn't an issue on this particular day as lighting was good which meant we could still get some decent shots using the GoPro. We then went to Middleton hospital where we finished the scene in the abandoned hospital. Again we had to use the GoPro which wasn't ideal as the lighting in this location wasn't brilliant, but good enough to get some relatively good shots. Once this was over, we got a few of out into Ilkley where we got some shots at several using the masks. As we only had a limited amount of people and only actually have 2 masks we had to use the same person if different shots. This doesn't mean that we will necessarily use these but it gives us a good idea of how we want them to look when we recreate them with some different people. Overall I believe that today was successful and we achieved what we set out to achieve.

Next Steps:

  • Film the scene in the bar and at work
  • Film the scene at home
  • Finish getting footage using the masks
  • Get some more cut away shots
