Although I am only at a stage of completing my first rough cut, I thought it might be a good idea to collect some audience feedback. This is a video of my father who kindly obliged to answering some simple questions after watching my first rough cut. By gathering audience feedback, I can potentially broaden my ideas to improve my music video in the future by taking opinions from different people.
Overall his response was highly positive and enthusiastic regarding the cinematography. He also expressed some interesting and constructive points that I will consider going forward with my production. Some things pointed out in the discussion:
- Pace of editing didn't match beat of song
- Plot wasn't entirely obvious without the inclusion of motion capture editing
- The colour balance was inconsistent throughout
